Coastguards at Burghead Bay off Findhorn in Scotland’s Moray Firth have spotted the small sailing yacht of a missing single-handed yachtsman.

The alarm was raised by the missing man’s wife when he failed to return from a passage from Lossiemouth to Findhorn.

Aberdeen Coastguard scrambled a rescue helicopter and teams from four locations are also searching.
